As for the book,as a Palestinian in the diaspora he was able to put into words (yes, so eloquently) what I dare to feel. None of the examples and stories were new to me but he allowed me to feel an anger I wouldn’t dare feel for fear of being judged.
I just started reading this yesterday, thanks to your mention of it. Mohammed is very poetic and philosophical. It is, as you say, astonishing, stunning, heartbreaking prose. And also very blunt and direct.
I didn't think I could laugh in the midst of this, but 'interchanging Mein Kampf with Hillary Clinton's Hard Choices' was hilarious.
